Renting a place
For a specific place, use the enquiry form on its listing. It reaches the owner directly and the owner answers you; we cannot tell you more about a place than its owner can. In Reedley a useful first message says:
- your dates and what sets them: a hospital contract, the college term, a packing season;
- whether you need it furnished, and for how many people;
- whether electricity is included, and what the July bill was on that meter;
- how old the air conditioning is;
- near the Kings River, whether high water has closed the river nearby in a wet year.
Listing a property
Use list your property. Send the neighbourhood, the price and whether it is by the night, the week or the month, the minimum stay, and a few photos, including one of the air-conditioning unit. Say whether it is furnished and which bills are in the rent. The City of Reedley bills water, sewer and refuse against the property, so tell us whether you keep those accounts. We write the listing from what you send, check the facts and publish it.
Corrections
If something on the site is wrong or out of date, whether a listing, a price or a figure in one of the guides, tell us at hello@reedleyrent.com and we will fix it. Several dates in the guides change on a fixed schedule, such as the college term and PG&E's rates, so a note that one has passed is useful.
